Who We Are
Audrey’s Place Foundation is a charitable organization created in 2010 by the Tepper family of Toronto Canada. The mission of Audrey’s Place is to assist in funding post-secondary and graduate education for individuals entering the nursing field. Our hope is that they have an interest in treating women and children in under-served and developing countries around the world.
The Audrey’s Place Foundation and their supporters, including individuals, major corporations, friends and other organizations and businesses in Canada and the U.S., believe in the concept of “paying it forward.” By investing in the education of future nurses, the funds provided by Audrey’s Place are leveraged to positively impact one life today so that many lives can be positively impacted in the future.
Scholarships and other financial assistance are provided annually by Audrey’s Place Foundation to worthy applicants in the nursing field in Canada who are committed to serving the greater good. And with all overhead of Audrey’s Place Foundation funded privately, every dollar raised goes to support our mission.
Goals of Audrey’s Place Foundation
To provide scholarships that will cover the full cost of tuition for one year for students of recognized nursing programs.
Scholarships will be granted based on academic merit and financial need, taking into special consideration students who might not qualify for other forms of financial aid, such as other scholarship programs and/or OSAP funding.
Although scholarships will be one year in length, students may reapply for a scholarship the following year(s).
