Julia d’Allmen
Master of Nursing Year 1
Julia d’Allmen is a first-year student in the Primary Healthcare Nurse Practitioner Program. She applied for this program as she always loved learning and challenging herself. More importantly, after working most of her career in women’s health, she witnessed many disparities. She hopes to provide primary healthcare for women with a variety of health concerns with an innovative approach to decrease these disparities. She also hopes to provide care to children to set them up for a healthy future. She believes that by obtaining a master’s degree she can share her knowledge more easily with others to create a systemic change in health care. She knows that this program will help her achieve these goals. During her studies, she plans to complete a collaborative specialization in women’s health.
