Dear Audrey’s Place Foundation,
I want to extend my sincerest thank you for your generous donation that you have made to support my education in the accelerated nursing program, at the University of Toronto. I am in the first year of my nursing studies, and I hope to graduate next year, in 2025 and write my NCLEX exam to enter the nursing profession. Your generous donation has helped me afford my education. This will be my fifth year of post-secondary education, so the anticipated cost of tuition, textbooks and travel have increasingly become a barrier for me to continue my studies, and without your donation, I may not have gotten the opportunity enter the accelerated nursing program. Your donation has not only allowed me to become a nurse in the future but has enabled me to contribute to the improving the health and well-being of our society, impacting the lives of many more than just myself. I am extremely grateful that I was picked to receive this award, and I believe that generous donors like yourself, truly change the lives of students, like me, in so many more ways than providing financial support. I can continue my studies, confidently and diligently, knowing I do not have to be concerned with affording my education while keeping up with other responsibilities. This award means so much to me, and I will eternally be grateful that there are selfless individuals that believe in the importance of supporting the future, just like yourself. Thank you.
