In honour of Tepper Holdings Inc. Advisory Board Member, Donald McLauchlin who recently passed this June, Audrey’s Place has named our 2023 scholarships the Don McLauchlin Memorial Nursing Award.

Don got involved with Consolidated Fastfrate Group and Tepper Holdings Inc. in 1998 and has since left a lasting impact. A Western University graduate with a BA in Economics, his initial Finance career took him all around Canada to Montreal, Southwestern Ontario, Edmonton and Vancouver before settling down in Toronto as Roynat Capital’s VP of Risk in 1993.

In 2001, Don helped with starting Roynat Capital Partners to augment Roynat’s investment management practices. This led to the conception of Fastfrate’s Advisory Board which eventually transitioned into the THI Advisory Board. In addition to his role as a THI Advisory Board Member, Don also sat on the Advisory Board for Moskowitz Capital Corporation.

Don’s financial expertise and insights made him an asset to Consolidated Fastfrate and THI’s operations. We are grateful to have worked alongside him and gotten to know him over the past decades. While Don will be greatly missed, we want to carry on his legacy with our Donald McLauchlin Memorial Nursing Awards, given to postsecondary students who demonstrate his same commitment to helping others.
